Richmond Engineering Company, Inc. dba Lewis Lifetime Tools for its Yard Butler brand of products (“Yard Butler”) warrants to the original end user residential purchaser in the United States of America that its Yard Butler products (“Products”) will be free from manufacturing defects for the Warranty Periods outlined below:

Because Yard Butler cannot control the quality of products sold by unauthorized sellers, this warranty applies only to Products that were purchased from Yard Butler or a Yard Butler authorized seller in the United States, unless otherwise prohibited by law. Yard Butler reserves the right to reject warranty claims for Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized Internet sites. This warranty does not cover:
If your Product has rust spots, we recommend that you brush the rust spots (at least annually) and coat with a non-rust spray paint. Please also note that exposing hose reels, carts, trucks, and hangers to freezing temperatures with water remaining in the reel plumbing system or exposure to over-pressurized water sources (>55 psi) can damage these Products and such damage is not covered under this Warranty.
Purchasers of our Products are encouraged (but not required) to complete the product registration form at https://yardbutler.com/pages/lifetime-warranty. Failure to complete the form does not diminish your warranty rights.
Purchasers of Products who wish to make a warranty claim based upon a Product defect should contact Yard Butler via the Contact Us form, by emailing us directly at care@yardbutler.com, or by calling us at 1-800-589-7058 ext. 1000. You will be required to furnish proof of purchase showing the date of purchase, and you may be required to mail your Product to Yard Butler. Our Customer Support team will provide you with a return authorization and an RMA number. Products authorized for mailing to Yard Butler with an RMA number should be sent to:

Yard Butler will repair or replace a defective Product or Product part that is covered by this warranty or will refund the purchase price of the Product in the event Yard Butler is unable to provide a replacement and repair is not commercially practicable or cannot be timely made. If the Product or Product part is obsolete, Yard Butler reserves the right to replace the Product or Product part with a current model.
There are no warranties which extend beyond those stated herein. Any implied warranties that may be applicable to products, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the duration of this warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
Under no circumstances shall Yard Butler be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages based upon breach of this limited warranty, breach of contract or strict liability. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

If your Product is outside of the warranty periods or not eligible for warranty service, repair parts may be purchased directly from Yard Butler. Please contact Customer Support. You will be responsible for the purchase price of the repair part and the shipping fees.
